Central College Athletics

Brenda Fuller joined the Central men’s and women’s track and field coaching staff as an assistant coach in 2013.
        
She focuses primarily on the javelin throw and shot put. Over 12 years at Central, she's coached five men and two women to conference championships in the javelin throw. The Dutch won five straight men's javelin throw titles from 2014 to 2018.
        
Fuller served as an assistant coach at NCAA Division II Northern State University (S.D.) for 24 seasons. She helped the Wolves place in the top 35 in the nation 20 times. Fuller’s athletes captured 74 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference throwing event titles. She was tabbed as the USTFCCCA Division II Central Region assistant coach of the year in 2009
        
Between Central and Northern State, Fuller has coached 12 athletes who earned all-America honors.
      
Fuller also works in Central’s admissions office as a campus visit coordinator.
