Central College Athletics

Tim Wilkinson joined the Central staff as women’s golf coach in 2010 and added duties as assistant athletics director for event management in June.

Wilkinson, the 2014 and 2016 Iowa Conference’s women’s golf coach of the year, served as an admission office from 2010-15. He now coordinates event management for all home athletics events and manages facility scheduling for the A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex.

Wilkinson earned a bachelor’s degree at California State-Stanislaus. Earlier he launched the men’s and women’s golf programs at the University of Great Falls (Mont.), where he served with Van Kley. He was also the school’s assistant men’s basketball coach and sports information director.

As women’s golf coach, Wilkinson has piloted the Dutch to a conference championship and four second-place league finishes. His Central golfers have received all-conference honors 10 times, with one league MVP award.
