Central College Athletics

Mackenzie Biggs took over as the Central College women's golf coach prior to the 2025 spring season. .
          
A four-time American Rivers All-Conference performer with top-10 finishes at the league championships, Biggs graduated from Central in 2024. She received the team's Maurine Timmer Most Valuable Player Award in 2021 and 2023. In 2022, she was a part of Central's conference championship squad and competed at the NCAA Division III Championships the following spring.
 
In the fall of 2024, she spent time as an assistant coach and helped the Dutch to a runner-up finish at the conference meet.
     
She was a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree and WGCA All-America Scholar. In 2024, Biggs also received the Marjorie Giles Student Life Leadership Award, presented to a player who has demonstrated positive values through faith-based leadership. 

Biggs remained at Central as an assistant coach in the 2024 fall season while also serving as a music instructor with Pella Christian Schools before accepting the head coaching position.
           
"We're excited to have Mackenzie for this role," Vice President for Athletic Eric Van Kley said. "She would say she had a life-changing experience at Central College and she's eager to give those opportunities to our current and future women's golfers."
