Why did you choose Central?

I chose Central because everyone here was so welcoming from the beginning. When I was first here in 8th grade, I knew there was something special about this place. The people, the community, and the atmosphere of this place made me feel like Central could really be home for me.

Favorite professor and why?

I can’t choose just one professor, so I am choosing all of the Education professors. They care so much about all of their students and truly want them to succeed in life. They have taught me so much and are preparing me to become the best teacher I can be for my future students.

You’re majoring in elementary education because?

I love helping kids learn. My 3rd grade teacher inspired me to help others, and since then, I have known that I want to be a teacher someday. Not every kid has someone who believes in them, and I want to be that person for my students. I want all of my students to know that they are capable of succeeding in life.

Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?

I am very busy with academics and volleyball, but I also try my hardest to be involved with FCA. Faith is important to me, and I enjoy having that community on our campus.

Who are your go-to musical artists?

Brandon Lake, Phil Whickam,, and Elevation Worship are some of my favs. I have to say, though, I have been listening to Michael Jackson recently and I am loving it. I am a sucker for musicals, country music, and Christmas music too! Cody Johnson has a special place in my heart.

How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?

Attending Central has given me some of my closest friends in life. Academics and playing volleyball have also taught me how important time management, discipline, and balance are. In life, things will be thrown at you, and it is important to know how to handle those challenges while still making time for yourself and your people around you.

Where would you go for a dream vacation?

My dream vacation would definitely be Greece or Italy! I would love to experience the culture, and of course, try all the food!

If you could be a cartoon character for a week, who would you be?

I would choose to be Princess Jasmine because she is one of my favorite princesses. She doesn’t hesitate to stand up for what is right, she is adventurous, and just so cool.

Favorite Central tradition?

My favorite Central tradition is definitely the Headphone Dance. I love being there with my friends and teammates and just having the time of our lives!

Instagram or tiktok?

I would definitely pick Instagram over TikTok. I am much more of an Instagram person.

Favorite TV Show

My favorite TV show has to be Yellowstone. And I have to include all of the spin-off series connected to it, like 1883, 1923, Dutton Ranch, and more!

What’s it like to compete for Coach Czipri?

Competing for Coach Czipri is definitely an adventure. You never know what to expect from her. She pushes us because she truly believes in our abilities. Some days are harder than others, but it is worth it in the long run. She is an amazing coach because she cares so much more about who you are as a person, rather than who you are as an athlete.

What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central’s volleyball team?

I love how close our team is to each other. We take our culture very seriously in our program, which helps us connect with each other and build trust. I know I can always count on my team to make me smile whenever I see them, but I also know I can count on them when things get difficult.

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?

In 10 years, I hope to be teaching 3rd grade somewhere close to home. I hope to be married with a couple kids and maybe a dog. Most importantly, I hope I am truly happy, surrounded by the people I love the most.

Favorite food from Central Market

My favorite food from Central Market has to be the Bourbon Chicken. But, we definitely can’t forget about the Caramel Bars and S’mores Bars!

Bucket list

I want to travel to many different places all over the world. I want to take trips with my best friends and make memories that will last a lifetime. Also, I would love to learn another language and experience different cultures.
