Why did you chose Central?
I chose to go to Central for several reasons. First, Central has a great placement rate into pharmacy schools after receiving a bachelors degree, so I figured if I got my undergraduate degree here it would give me a better shot into getting into pharmacy school. Second, I really enjoyed the idea of playing tennis in college. Coach Ferrell reached out to me when he heard I was interested in playing and would call me every week to try to get me to come to Central. Third, my high school was very small, so I wanted a school that had smaller class sizes so I could easily talk to the professors when I needed help. Finally, my parents really pushed for Central.
Favorite professor and why?
Professor Dunne has to be my favorite professor. Although I have never had him for an actual class, I do independent inorganic chemistry research with him. He has helped push me academically while also keeping things entertaining. He can quote any movie you can think of. Just ask him sometime.
Who are your go-to musical artists?
I'm addicted to music, so anything with a good beat. My top 3 are Pvris, 21 pilots, and Chelsea Cutler.
You’re majoring in biochemistry because?
I am majoring in biochemistry because I want to go to pharmacy school and biochemistry was the best fit for me. I also enjoy seeing the outcomes of chemical reactions along with the biological backgrounds of life.
If you could bring one fictional character to life, who would it be and why?
Edna Mode, because everyone needs to be hit with a newspaper and told to pull yourself together once in awhile.
What is your favorite Central College tradition?
My favorite Central College tradition is seeing the baby goslings in the pond.
Teammate who would be most likely to win on “Dancing with the Stars”?
Kirsten Jordan would win. She has the best break dancing skills.
What’s the best prank you have ever pulled and who was it on?
I have an on going prank with my two best friends Brittany Coppess and Cierra Pulse. One of us will hide and then pop out and scare one another when they least expect it. We record it every time and needless to say, their faces say it all. If you want to see the videos, just ask me around campus.
What (fashion) trend do you wish would come back?
I wish it was still acceptable to have dogs as accessories.
Worst thing you ever did as a child? What was the punishment?
I asked my parents this question they said I was an angel and never did anything wrong ;)

What is it like to play for Coach Ferrell?
Playing for coach Ferrell is very entertaining. He always cracks jokes during practice and makes sure there is never a dull moment. It's also nice my team can always persuade him to go somewhere we want for dinner after a meet.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central tennis?
My favorite part about being a Central College tennis player is the dedication shown by my teammates. I have never met a team that is more dedicated to the game, one another, and academic success. Everyone has a competitive spirit but still focuses on our grades. There's a reason both Women's and Men's tennis has won the best GPA award and still end up in the top of the conference.
“Ten years from now I’ll...”
10 years from now I will be living in the mountains in Colorado or California with my German Sheppard. I will be traveling the world and working as a pharmacist in my down time. If pharmacy doesn't work out, I am moving to London and will be working at the Wimbledon as a Chemist on their grass courts.
